SBAC Results, 2016-2021
After students take the Smarter Balanced assessments (SBAC), their results are reported by achievement levels. There are four different achievement levels: Emerging Standards, Approaching Standards, Meeting Standards, and Exceeding Standards. Students that are in the Meeting or Exceeding Standards achievement level are considered on grade level. Emerging and Approaching Standards are considered below grade level.
Below, you will find the different achievement levels and how they have changed year over year.
Note regarding 2020 SBAC results: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Education federal accountability waiver in response to COVID-19 and school closures, students were not required to participate in SBAC assessments for the 2019-2020 school year, therefore 2020 data is unavailable.
